Debra Cochran was the winner of the ‘Best Easter Hat’ contest March 31 on Easter Sunday at Bright Star Baptist Church. A breakfast, an egg hunt, and the worship service at the church were enjoyed by all who attended. The church is located at 6833 FM 1395 between Edgewood and Wills Point.

On March 16, the Wills Point community gathered for the annual ‘Boots, Buckles, and Bling’ Gala sponsored by the Wills Point. From raffle prizes, the silent auction, to live auction items, each contributor spoke volumes about our collective dedication to a cause greater than ourselves.

The regular monthly meeting of the Wills Point School Board meeting on March 21 began with the recognition of Brady Mc-Dougle and Elizabeth Bates from Woods Intermediate School. In the fall, Elizabeth and Brady approached Miss Lewis, with a desire to do something for the school to raise money.
